Jennifer Love Hewitt feels like a better person when she has a boyfriend.

The 'Ghost Whisperer' actress - who is believed to have embarked on a new romance with actor-and-director Alex Beh - only broke up with her ex Jamie Kennedy in April, but doesn't mind starting a new romance so soon because she prefers to be in relationships.

She said: "I feel like as a person, I am better as a couple."

The 31-year-old actress is said to have enjoyed a romantic dinner date with the 27-year-old hunk at lavish eatery Katsuya in Los Angeles' district Encino this week and the pair seemingly didn't mind being affectionate in public.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "She's so into him. It's relatively new. But they're really cute together."

Jennifer and her ex-boyfriend Jamie split earlier this year after dating for around 12 months.

The pretty actress' ex-boyfriends include John Mayer, Ross McCall and Carson Daly.
