Jennifer Lopez Puts A Stop To Jessica Sanchez Sing-off

Jennifer Lopez put a stop to Jessica Sanchez's sing-off on 'American Idol'.

The 42-year-old singer - who judges on the show alongside Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler - jumped on stage and demanded Jessica to sit down as she disagreed with the hopeful being in the bottom three.

Jennifer took to the stage and shouted: ''Gimme that mic! This is crazy. You ain't going home! Go sit down.''

Following the brunette beauty's intervention, the panellists announced Jessica - who Randy described as ''one of the best singers In America ever'' - was saved.

The three judges were outraged after Jessica and fellow favourites Joshua Ledet and Elise Testone were voted into the bottom three by viewers of the show for Thursday's (12.04.12) elimination.

Randy said: ''This is a ridiculous bottom three. So wrong!''

As a result, none of trio were sent home from the competition and the final seven - who are also made up of Hollie Cavanagh, Phillip Phillips, Skylar Laine and Colton Dixon - will now compete for another week.
