Jennifer Lawrence Did NOT Rip Her Dress At The SAG Awards, Her Pants Fell Down

When Jennifer Lawrence went up to collect her award for Best Actress at last Sunday's (Jan 27) Screen Actors Guild Awards she gave us a glimpse at what could have been one of Hollywood's most famous faux-pas.

Luckily for Jennifer, when she got to the stage to accept her reward she did manage to keep things together and last night, on Piers Morgan Tonight, Jennifer went through just what happened for the first time. Although it initially looked as though her dress split, Jen told Piers that in fact the bottom tier for her Christian Dior gown began to fall away, or as she put it, "my pants fell down."

She watched the whole debacle and gave a step by step detail of her near miss in the wardrobe department, saying "Oh, god. Oh, My pants fell off." She went on, and recalled how the near miss began as she made her way to the stage, adding, "Somebody trips me on the way, I remember that and yeah—there it starts to fall off. And then I'm keeping it together, keeping it together, then my pants fall off again!"

Often noted as one of Hollywood's most down to earth young talents, the interview made it easy to see why that is the case as Piers quizzed her on her good looks after quoting a Rolling Stone review of Silver Linings Playbook. Piers asks the stunning actress if she finds herself "sexy," to which she adamantly replies "No!" Piers continued by asking her "What do you think when you look in the mirror?" Jennifer pauses for a second or two before replying, "I try and figure out what to do with what I got." That girl sure knows how to melt a few hearts.
