Jennifer Jason Leigh - Jennifer Jason Leigh Seeks Custody Of Child After Filing For Divorce
JENNIFER JASON LEIGH, the 48-year-old American actress best known for her role in the movie 'Single White Female', is seeking primary custody of her child 'Rohmer' after filing for divorce from filmmaker husband NOAH BAUMBACH, reports People Magazine. Leigh gave birth to the couple's first child just seven months ago.
Leigh filed the divorce documents at the Los Angeles Superior Court on November 15th 2010 and cited 'irreconcilable differences' for seeking to end the 5-year marriage. Further details surrounding the divorce are currently unclear. The couple first met back in 2001 while Leigh was starring in the Broadway production of the play 'Proof', and they married in 2005. After the wedding, Baumbach said, "I expect to be with Leigh for the rest of my life". The 41-year-old director is best known for his hit indie comedy 'The Squid and the Whale', and he collaborated with his wife on the 2010 movie 'Greenberg', starring BEN STILLER.
