Jennifer Hudson To Host Charity Dinner In Nephew's Memory
The singer/actress' young nephew Julian King was shot dead by his estranged stepfather William Balfour in 2008 in a horrific triple murder, in which Hudson's mother Darnell Donerson and brother Jason Hudson were also killed in their Chicago, Illinois home.
The Dreamgirls star and her sister Julia, the mother of the tragic seven year old, set up the Julian King Foundation after his death and they are planning to mark what would have been his ninth birthday on 14 August (12) with a big benefit to boost donations to the children's charity, reports Eonline.com.
The Julian King Foundation was founded to help underprivileged kids in the Chicago area.
