Jennifer Aniston's Mormon Man

Jennifer Aniston has revealed she once dated a man who was a Mormon - a religion which allows men to have more than one wife.

Jennifer Aniston once dated a Mormon.

The 'Love Happens' actress finds the religion - an offshoot of Christianity which encourages men to have more than one wife - very interesting and was keen to get to know her religious former boyfriend better.

Jennifer - who was married to Brad Pitt and has since dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer - said: "Mormons are fascinating... I dated a Mormon once."

However, when she was told there would be "no sexy time" or "no vodka", Jennifer changed her mind, saying: "Leave it at that."

The former 'Friends' star - who is rumoured to be romancing her 'The Bounty' co-star Gerard Butler - has also given potential suitors advice on what drink to buy her at the bar.

She said in an interview for US TV programme 'The Chelsea Handler Show': "Vodka's what I drink. That's my drink of choice actually. It's a clean, um, liquor, yes. You know, no sugar."

Jennifer, 40, recently revealed she would consider having a child through artificial insemination.

She said: "I'm ready for anything. Bring it on. I wouldn't rule anything out. It would not be my first choice though."

The author of this article is an idiot. The Mormon church does not allow or encourage men to have more than one wife - and it is not an off-shoot of Christianity, it IS Christianity. I didn't realize that this site was so ignorant when it comes to fact-checking - I'll never view your articles the same again.

I am ashamed of the blatent ignorance of the author of this story. The LDS Church (Mormons)have not practiced polygamy (having more than one wife) for over a century, and even when it was in practice, only a few people did have more than one wife. The Church definatly does not condone, much less encourage polygamy,it is forbiden, and it is against the law of the U.S.! I am ashamed that this level of ignorance still occurs in today's media. Check your facts!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so embarassed for the author, Mormon's have banned polygamy for over 100 years. Maybe the last time the author read a news article about the topic was 100 years ago?
