Jennifer Aniston - Jennifer Aniston Plans To Move People With Short Film
Jennifer Aniston says she plans to "move and empower" people when she and a number of other celebrities get behind the camera in aid of breast cancer awareness.
Jennifer Aniston has signed on to direct a short film about breast cancer as part of Lifetime's forthcoming 'Project Five' anthology, reports US Weekly Magazine.'Project Five' will feature individual short films directed by Aniston, Demi Moore, 'Monster' filmmaker Patty Jenkins, musician Alicia Keys and a yet to be named fifth celebrity. Speaking about the project, 42-year-old Aniston said, "Our hope with Project Five is to entertain, inform and inspire dialogue, research and prevention. Otherwise, our goals are small. We want these films to move people and empower those affected by breast cancer to stand tall through this challenge, which impacts all of our lives, no matter who we are". The short film will represent Aniston's second foray into the world of directing. In 2006, she got behind the camera for the movie 'Room 10', starring Robin Wright and Kris Kristofferson. On addressing whether she plans to continue directing, the actress said, "It's getting to a time where creatively I want to turn in a different direction".
Jennifer Aniston recently completed filming the forthcoming comedy movie 'Wanderlust', which hits cinemas in the U.S. on 7th October 2011. The film, which also stars Paul Rudd, follows an urban couple who branch out to live a more counter-cultural lifestyle.
