Jenna Dewan To Star In 'American Horror Story'

Jenna Dewan is joining the cast of 'American Horror Story'.

The 31-year-old actress - the wife of Channing Tatum - is to star as Adam Levine's love interest in season two of the creepy FX show.

The upcoming series changes location and characters from the first series' setting in a haunted Los Angeles mansion.

Instead, the action takes place in an institution for the criminally insane in the 1960s and creator Ryan Murphy has promised even more scares.

Ryan - whose other hit shows include 'Nip/Tuck' and 'Glee' - said: ''The second season is fun, sexy and baroque. It has a lot of meat to it; it's a really gritty part.''

Jenna and Maroon 5 singer Adam's characters have so far only been referred to as 'The Lovers'.

Jessica Lange stars as the head of the asylum and the impressive cast also includes Chloe Sevigny, Joseph Fiennes, Zachary Quinto and Lily Rabe.

Jenna recently celebrated her third wedding anniversary to Channing and the couple marked the date by taking a vacation to Lake Como in Italy.

The pair spent some time with Jenna's friend Stacy Keibler and her boyfriend George Clooney in the idyllic location.
