Jenna Dewan recalls strange Sexiest Man revelation
Channing Tatum told his wife Jenna Dewan he had been named the Sexiest Man Alive while they were washing the smell of skunk spray off their dogs.
The actress - who has been married to her 'Step Up' co-star for three years - admits the timing was ''strange'' for him to reveal he had been awarded People magazine's annual title, but it led to a funny moment as they were soaping the foul stench from their mutts.
She explained: ''Our dogs were being skunked every other night for about two months straight, so this was a very normal occurrence, to be kneeling in front of the bathtub washing our dogs.
''But he was like, 'Oh, by the way, I was named People's Sexiest Man Alive...' Is that not the strangest way to tell me this news?
''I'm not quite sure why the skunk smell made him think about it. Maybe it was the fact that it was the last thing the Sexiest Man Alive would be doing. But I don't know. Maybe it was the sexy skunk musk that made him think of it!''
Jenna, 31, is really pleased he husband - who stripped off for his role in 'Magic Mike' - has been universally recognised as a hunk, but he has always been the Sexiest Man Alive to her.
She added to People magazine: ''I think it's an honour, because it's a great league of people that have been given this honour before him.
''That's special, because it says he's achieved so much in his career and in his life that makes this award a possibility. But he's always been the Sexiest Man Alive to me.''
People's full list of the Sexiest Men Alive is available in their next issue on newsstands from November 16.
