Jenn Sterger - Jenn Sterger Insists She's No Gold Digger
Jenn Sterger, the woman who allegedly received explicit text messages from NFL star Brett Favre has insisted that she is no "gold-digger". 27-year-old Jenn Sterger recently gave an interview to Good Morning America in which she explains her reasoning for pursuing the Favre saga.
In response to allegations that she attempted to make money from the situation, Sterger said, "I'm not a gold-digger. I haven't made a dime off anything in this whole situation. Not from the pictures. Not from Favre. I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine". The scandal dates back in 2008 when Favre allegedly sent voicemails and nude pictures of himself to Sterger, who was working as a game-day host for the New York Jets at the time. The 27-year-old still insists her life was turned "upside down" by the scandal and added, "You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job. But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating".
Jenn Sterger has kept a low profile in recent months, but Brett Favre was fined $50,000 back in December 2010 for failing to aid the NFL with their investigation into the matter.
