Rocker CLARENCE JENKINS died on Sunday (13Sep09) after suffering a heart attack onstage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The bass player, 50, was performing with thrash-metal band Faith or Fear at the city's Arts, Music and Antiques Festival when he collapsed.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead an hour later.
Faith or Fear were in the middle of a comeback tour after reuniting last year (08).
According to Blabbermouth.net, Sunday's performance was the band's first in its hometown in more than two decades.
It is not known if Faith or Fear will continue without the bass player.
