Jeff Conaway - Jeff Conaway's Autopsy Results Deferred

The Grease star passed away on Friday (27May11), two weeks after he was found unconscious at his California home and admitted to hospital suffering from pneumonia and blood poisoning caused by a bacterial infection.

Rumours the 60-year-old actor had suffered a drug overdose were quickly dismissed by his representative.

It is believed Conaway's relatives took the difficult decision to turn off his life support system before he passed away, while officials at the Los Angeles County Coroner's office have now started their routine investigation into the cause of his death.

An autopsy was carried out on Saturday (28May11), but the results were deferred pending toxicology tests, according to Tmz.com.

The website reports the results are expected back in approximately four to six weeks.
