Jean Dujardin is in talks to appear in 'The Wolf of Wall Street'.
The French actor - who shot to fame when he won an Oscar for 'The Artist' earlier this year - is set to join Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in the Martin Scorsese film.
The film is based on Jordan Belfort's memoir of his rise and fall as a stockbroker. The story follows Jordan - to be played by Leonardo - a hard partying, drug addicted multi millionaire stockbroker who was eventually charged with security fraud and money laundering, and served a 22-month prison stretch.
A source told collider.com, Jean's character will be ''Jean-Jacques Handali, a suave Swiss banker involved in laundering illicit funds for Belfort's firm.''
Jonah Hill will play Jordan's associate and business partner, while Kyle Chandler will be the FBI agent who tracks Jordan down.
The screenplay has been adapted from the memoir by Terence Winter, who worked on 'Boardwalk Empire' and filming is expected to begin in August.
Jean is also soon to be back on screen in comedy 'The Players', and is also attached French spy thriller 'Mobius'.
