Jay-z To Feature On J Cole Debut

JAY-Z is to appear on J Cole's debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story which is due for release later this month (September 2011)

Although it was not formally planned JAY-Z has decided to lend his voice to the track Mr. Nice Watch, it is a fitting song to feature on as it samples the rapper's A Million and One Questions and he raps in third person saying "Uggh, nice watch, do you really have a spot?/ Like you said in 'Friend or Foe' and if so, what block?" This isn't the first time J Cole has appeared alongside JAY-Z on a track as the pair teamed up on the 2009 album The Blueprint III. J Cole is also signed to JAY-Z's record label Roc Nation and told MTV.com "Nobody owes me anything. Jay-Z doesn't owe me a verse because I signed to him."

Born in Frankfurt, Germany the hip-hop artist moved with his mother to North Carolina and was raised there. He later moved to New York City as he believed that there were more opportunities for an aspiring musician there. His chance came after JAY-Z heard a mix tape of the young rapper and signed him to his record label. After a series of EPs and mixtapes the rapper, real name Jermaine Cole is set to release his first studio album on September 27th.
