Jay Z Recruits Pearl Jam For 'Made In America' Festival
We also suspected that Izzo might have eclectic tastes, and so he's proved with a fine array of headliners including Pearl Jam, Odd Future, the Maybach Music Group featuring Rick Ross and, erm, Skrillex. MTV reports that Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Passion Pit, Santigold, Dirty Projectors, Janelle Monae, Prince Royce, Rita Ora, The Knocks and Savoy are also set to perform over the weekend.
The icing on the cake? Well Jigga's going to be there performing himself of course! Currently on a European tour with his pal Kanye West, there's been no word as to whether Yeezy will be joining him on stage, but when he's presented a bill as talented as the one announced, who really cares? Explaining how he approached projects such as this one recently, Jay Z commented "Whenever I enter into a project, I try to hit on some touch points. The first thing is: Is it great? The second one is: Is it gonna push the culture forward?" What a guy.
