The Roc Nation mogul was reportedly reluctant to step out just 11 days since the birth of Blue Ivy, but eventually turned up at the bash that was also attended by filmmaker Spike Lee, billionaire Warren Buffett and singer Ashanti. Jay Z hurried down the red-carpet at the bash, but yelled "thanks" to the waiting press pack who had congratulated him on the birth of his child, according to the New York Post. Inside the party, the rapper socialized with a group of close knit friends in the Vip areas, including The Roots drummer Questlove who briefly discussed Blue Ivy, saying, "I'm here to show love. He can give me advice.I'm not even a parent yet - so he left me in the club alone". Beyonce gave birth at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York on January 7, 2012. There was a brief investigation into the couple's Vip treatment at the facility, though this was later thrown out.
11-day old Blue Ivy has already made a foray into the music business, and became the youngest person ever to appear on a Billboard chart, after her father released the track 'Glory' (featuring crying from Blue).
