Jay-z And Ron Howard Teaming Up For New Documentary
The 99 Problems hitmakers is set to launch the inaugural Made in America festival in Philadelphia on 1 September (12), with hitmakers like Drake, Pearl Jam, and Rick Ross all set to perform.
The two-day event will celebrate new artists and industry veterans alike, and now fans will get a chance to go behind the scenes and watch how mastermind Jay Z put together the highly-anticipated spectacle.
Apollo 13 filmmaker Howard will direct the project, while record label executive Steve Stoute will co-produce with Oscar winner Brian Grazer, who tells the New York Post, "It is going to be born through Jay Z's perspective... how he puts the event together.
"Jay stayed the king for a very long time... I can't even begin to explain how he is capable of remaining relevant. He is a phenom, like a musical (basketball icon) Michael Jordan."
