Jason Segel 'Very Comfortable' With Female Castmates

Jason Segel is ''very comfortable'' with his female castmates.

The 'Five-Year Engagement' actor - who is dating Michelle Williams and has previously been romantically linked to Drew Barrymore and Chloe Sevigny - has always bonded well with women and thinks that is reflected in the movies he writes.

He said: ''I've always been very comfortable with women. I like them. As friends and romantic partners.

''I just get on with women really well. And you can feel it in my scripts.''

Although he is best known for his work in comedy, the 'How I Met Your Mother' star is now ready for a change in direction, which he says reflects his personal life.

The 32-year-old star said: ''I'm actually at a big life-turning point in general.

''I've hit my thirties, the TV show that I've been doing for eight years is coming to its natural end I'm feeling much more like, 'OK, now it's time for phase three.' It's time I think.''

As well as changing direction within acting, Jason has also given up drinking alcohol because he ''isn't really capable'' of moderating his partying.

He added to The Times newspaper: ''I f***ing love to drink, but I'm not really capable of moderating. I haven't sworn off it forever. But then, I Hope I don't drink again.''
