Jarmusch Planning Stooges Documentary

Moviemaker JIM JARMUSCH is planning a new movie about IGGY POP's punk icons THE STOOGES.
The reformed group approached Jarmusch to capture the essence of the band in a documentary and the director is onboard.
He says, "There's no rush on it, but it's something that Iggy asked me to do."
It seems Pop has picked the perfect guy to direct the project - Jarmusch tells Pitchfork.com, "There's a rule in my household that if Iggy is playing anywhere within 90 miles, we go."
