January Jones - January Jones Gives Birth To First Child

January Jones has given birth to a baby boy, the 'Mad Men' actress naming the child XANDER DANE JONES.

Announcing back in April that she was pregnant, speculation has mounted as to who the father might be, though Jones - who has previously been EMMY nominated for her role as Betty Draper in 'Mad Men' - has kept tight-lipped on the subject throughout. A simple statement from a representative said "Mom and Baby are doing great," reported the Daily Mail.

Reaction to the news was quick, with 'Mad Men' creator MATTHEW WEINER confident that the 33 year-old would take to motherhood easily, commenting that "She has wanted this very badly. She's got a big heart and she's been talking about having children since I met her, which is not always common with actresses. I think she's going to be an amazing mother."

There are a number of possible fathers to the child; the actress dated 'Saturday Night Live' star Jason Sudeikis for six months until January of this year, while there have also been rumours linking her to celebrity chef BOBBY FLAY. Additionally, there were rumours that Matthew Vaughn - husband of Claudia Schiffer - had fathered the child, those claims were strenuously denied upon surfacing in the summer however.

Giving birth to Xander will likely give the star some time away from the screen, Jones career has been on a rocket-like ascent since breaking through as Cadence Flaherty in the film 'American Wedding' that came out in 2003.
