Jane Was A Favourite For Jon Hamm's Mad Men Lead
Actor Jon Hamm has revealed he almost lost the role of womanising Mad Men lead Don Draper to The Punisher star Thomas Jane.
Hamm admits TV bosses had no idea who he was when he first auditioned for the part of the 1960s advertising agency executive - and they wanted Jane for the role.
He says, "Nobody knew who I was... I wasn’t on anybody’s lists.
"They went to Thomas Jane for it, and they were told that Thomas Jane does not do television."
