James Marsden is set to star in 'Walk of Shame'.
The 'X-Men' actor will play Elizabeth Banks' love interest in Steven Brill's upcoming romantic comedy, which the director also wrote.
The film sees 'Definitely, Maybe' star Elizabeth play a wannabe news anchor who embarks on a wild night out after she suspects she has blown a big job interview. However, when she awakes in a strange neighbourhood she discovers not only has she landed her dream job, but she is locked out of her flat with no phone, money, ID or car. She then suffers a series of misadventures along with James' character as they attempt to get her to the TV studio on time.
Willie Garson, Ethan Suplee and Bill Burr have also been cast in Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment's new comedy, The Wrap is reporting.
This won't be the first time James and Elizabeth work together, having previously starred in 2005's 'Heights'.
The 39-year-old actor will next appear with Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington in '2 Guns' and Forest Whitaker in 'The Butler'.
Meanwhile, there are rumours James could reprise his role as Cyclops in the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' sequel alongside stars of the original trilogy Hugh Jackman, Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart.
'Walk of Shame' is likely to begin shooting next year.
