James Bond's Aston Martin Set To Sell For $150,000
Among some of the items available at an almighty sounding charity auction coming up in London next month, is arguably one of the most sought after cars of all-time, with a classy version of the Aston Martin V12 Dbs that featured in the James Bond Quantum of Solace film. The auction takes place at the well-known London auction house Christie's, and those in charge of the event expect the car to go for $150,000, with the sale marking the 50th anniversary of the first 007 film Dr. No. Proceeds will go to Barnado's, a charity aiming to support homeless children or children with troubled upbringings.
There will be nine other items up for auction at the event taking place on October 5th, according to CBS. Among these will be sunglasses worn by the actor Daniel Craig in the same film. Additionally 40 other items will be going up for sale in an online auction taking place between September 28th and October 8th to benefit the charity Unicef; the bulk of items were donated by Eon Productions.
Other items in the October 5th sale include special editions of all of the Bond books written by Ian Fleming, an Omega Planet Ocean watch worn by Craig in the yet-to-be-released Skyfall; and blue swimming trunks worn by Craig in Casino Royale.
