Tv - James Arthur & Emeli Sande End The Year On Top Of The U.k. Charts
Tv talent contest winner James Arthur will ring in 2013 at the top of the U.K. pop charts after regaining the number one spot.
The X Factor star's Impossible debuted at the top of the countdown earlier this month (Dec12), but he failed to score a Christmas number one when the Justice Collective's rendition of He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother, which features Sir Paul MCCartney and Robbie Williams, rocketed to number one.
The charity hit falls to five on the new chart, while will.i.am's Scream & Shout, featuring Britney Spears, Psy's Gangnam Style and Olly Murs' Trouble round out the top five.
And Emeli Sande ends an amazing year, during which she performed at the opening and closing ceremonies of the London Olympics, on top of the album chart.
The Scottish singer's Our Version Of Events is 2012's biggest-selling album in the U.K.
