Jake Gyllenhaal - Jake Gyllenhaal Talks Source Code Bomber

Jake Gyllenhaal says even if the audience guess who the 'bomber' is halfway through his new movie 'Source Code', they still "don't really know what's going to happen".
Jake Gyllenhaal, the American actor who stars in the new movie 'Source Code', has discussed the 'whodunit' plot and insists the audience can never really know what's happening, reports Mtv News. The highly-anticipated film has been directed by David Bowie's son Duncan James and follows the story of an Army Captain who is on a mission to solve the mystery of a devastating train bombing. 'Captain Colter Stevens', played by Gyllenhaal, is able to venture into the mind of one of the train's passengers eight minutes before the explosion and must figure out who was responsible for the tragedy. The film has drawn comparisons to Christopher Nolan's 'Inception' and Gyllenhaal says the audience will constantly question themselves, saying, "Even if you've found out who the bomber is halfway through the movie, you don't really know what's going to happen. The entire movie was a debate and the entire movie was also having to ask all the questions that the audience might be asking".
Jake Gyllenhaal's new movie, which hits cinemas today (1st April 2011), has been gaining rave reviews. The UK's Guardian newspaper rated it five stars out of five, noting, "Source Code is absurd, but carries off its absurdity lightly and stylishly. It is a luxuriously enjoyable film".
