Young Buck - Jailed Rapper Young Buck Serves Time In Solitary Confinement

Imprisoned rapper Young Buck received a Thanksgiving pardon last week (ends23Nov12) after he was released from a spell in solitary confinement.

The former G-Unit star, real name David Darnell Brown, is currently serving an 18 month sentence for gun possession, but his time behind bars has not been going smoothly and he revealed over the weekend (24-25Nov12) that he had recently been punished and placed in isolation.

A message posted on his Twitter.com blog reads, "Dear Fans, I've been in the hole (solitary) 4 (sic) the last 2 months, they let me out on Thanksgiving so I'm back to writing you all. Keep the mail coming."

Young Buck did not expand on what led to his solitary spell, but it appears life at the Yazoo City Low Security Prison in Southern Mississippi isn't going as well as he'd previously claimed.

During a radio interview in September (12), he said, "I'm good. I'm one hundred (per cent). I'm well taken care of. I'm straight. Even under the circumstances that it is... it's prison, ya know what I'm saying?

"At the end of the day, I'm making the best out of (it)... I'm handling it like a real man gotta handle it. There really ain't no other way. Once you back here, you can either do the time or let the time do you. I choose to do the time. I stay out of the way."
