Jackson's This Is It Headed To Small Screen

MICHAEL JACKSON's concert movie THIS IS IT is heading for the small screen - network bosses at MTV have secured rights to air the documentary in 2011.

The movie is a collection of rehearsal footage from the 50 London shows Jackson was scheduled to perform from July (09).

This Is It premiered worldwide last month (28Oct09) and has already taken nearly $223 million (GBP139 million) at the worldwide box office.

And now Jackson is set to moonwalk into U.S. TV viewers' homes after the cable network secured exclusive rights in the U.S.

MTV has six-year window to air the movie beginning in 2011.

Network president Van Toffler says, "Michael Jackson has always been inextricably tied to our viewers as they witnessed his evolution from a talented performer to a global icon who redefined music. Now, with this film, we can help give his fans a chance to see his final performance."

This is such bad news. After the way MTV treated Michael in 2002 when they deliberately set out and succedded in embarrassing him that they now have the rights to TII is shameful. Sony must have been smiling with glee as the papers were signed. Michael would definitely not be happy about this. Go to Youtube and search for An Embarassing Moment for Michael Jackson in MTV then google 'MTV Comes Clean about Artist of the Millennium Award'. It should change the views of all MJ fans.

Good News! This will give the fans a chance to see Michael Jackson in his rehearsals, the movie "THIS IS IT" Many people can not go to movie theaters for all kinds of reasons such as commitments to their jobs, child care, illness, too far from a movie theater, etc. ect.. ect... I went to see "THIS IS IT" 8 times and still could see it again. A fan
