Another iconic MICHAEL JACKSON item is set to go under the hammer - the glove he wore the first time he ever performed his famed moonwalk dance is up for sale.
The late Thriller hitmaker wore the glove, which is studded with rhinestones, when he showcased the now legendary move during the Motown's 25th-anniversary TV special in 1983.
Buyers will be able to get their own hands on the item when a range of Jackson memorabilia goes up for auction at New York City's Times Square Hard Rock Cafe on Saturday (21Nov09).
The glove is expected to sell for up to $60,000 (£40,000).
A similar white glove, which the icon wore on his 1984 Victory tour, sold for a staggering $66,000 (£44,000) in October (09).
The sale is being organised by Julien's Auctions.

| Good!!! And I hope this money goes to Michael Jackson's children. It won't make up for not having their father alive, but a little bit to kind of make up for all the ills and lies horrible people said against their father. Michael Jackson was an ICON and needs all the respects that is due him, he brought so much pleasure to the world. A fan of Michael Jackson | ||
