Jackson's Children 'Could Be Witnesses At Trial'

Michael Jackson's young children and family members including mother Katherine and sister Janet are set to be called as witnesses at DR. Conrad Murray's upcoming involuntary manslaughter trial, according to a U.S. report.

The physician stands accused of administering the powerful dose of anaesthetic Propofol which led to the King of Pop's death in June, 2009.

Murray has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter and is due to stand trial in May (11), and a document, obtained by Tmz.com, has revealed new details about proceedings.

In the papers, more than 100 potential witnesses are listed - including the Thriller icon's three children Prince Michael, 14, Paris, 13, and nine-year-old Blanket.

Other family members set to take the stand include Jackson's mum and dad, Katherine and Joe, and siblings Jackie, Janet, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy, Rebbie and Tito.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor is still searching for impartial jurors to hear the case, and the legal paper also reveals potential jurors face extensive quizzing of their opinions about Jackson, celebrities and medication before being appointed.

Like other commenters I too am concerned at the prospect of these bereaved and vulnerable children being called on to give evidence. Will open up old wounds and completely destroy all the efforts made over the last two years to help them recover the loss of their beloved father.Shame on the courts and Conrad Murray (who is as guilty as sin according to reports I have read from the paramedics who were called out that fateful day). Not to mention the dreadful media circus who will be out in force. Not for the first time - god bless Prince Paris and Blanket.

Like other commenters I too feel sick at the prospect of these bereaved and vulnerable children being called on to give evidence.I believe this would have the effect of opening up old wounds and obliterating all the efforts made to help them recover from the loss of their father nearly two years ago. Shame on the courts. Also would be concerned about their being exposed to a media circus.Conrad Murray is guilty all right.

I don't think the three children will be in the court room.........if anything, the judge would have them in a private chamber.....away from the media.......Isn't there some kind of a California law that sayd children under a certain age cannot be in a court room to be a witness???? I think there is.........

If the judge is going to question the three children of MICHAEL JACKSON it will be done in the judges chamber.......in private.......I can't imagine what those children will feel like if they have to be submitted to questioning, even in private............My heart goes out to those three children......They have been through so much...........Losing their father because of this negligent doctor who is suppose to save lives, and not take away life...........In all fairness it should be the fans on that jury trial, because the fans know the truth..............
