Jackson Starts Own Video Game Studio
LATEST: Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson and his screen writing partner Fran Walsh have started a new video game studio called Wingnut Interactive.
The pair have signed a long-term deal with Microsoft to make Xbox 360 games.
The first two include a new Halo game, (which is not tied to the Halo film Jackson is producing) and a game Jackson and Walsh will develop themselves.
Jackson has also worked with Microsoft to develop an HD DVD of King Kong that comes with the new $200 (GBP111) HD DVD drive for the Xbox 360 when it arrives in mid-November (06).
