Jackson Moves To Berlin After Falling Out Of Love With London

STEPPIN' OUT hitmaker JOE JACKSON has relocated to Berlin, Germany because it reminds him of his adopted New York 25 years ago. The British singer-songwriter has become a fixture in the U.S. for two decades, but now he's moved back to Europe after falling in love with the city while recording his new album. Jackson tells Paste magazine, "It's a bit like New York... before it got all generic. "I like the bohemian flavour. I'm a bohemian who against the odds, has made a bit of money." Jackson insists he's no longer a fan of London after living there before making the move to the German capital. He explains, "I couldn't take it any more. Everyone was so mean... All they talk about is money and real estate... I don't want to hang out with people like that. "It's getting harder and harder to find a place where you can live like a human being."
