Jackson Gets Amas Off To A Bang

JANET JACKSON opened the American Music Awards with a bang on Sunday (22Nov09) night - performing a spectacular eight minute medley of her hits.

Dressed in a Pocahontas-inspired suede outfit, the superstar ran through a string of her songs, including new single Make Me - accompanied by a breathless dance routine, including some moves inspired by her late brother Michael's famous Thriller video.

Other early performances at the event - taking place at downtown Los Angeles' Nokia Theater - included Daughtry, a hip-thrusting Shakira and Keith Urban.

Early AMA winners are Best Pop/Rock Band/Duo/Group The Black Eyed Peas and Best Country duo/band Rascal Flats - lifting the prize for the fourth year in a row.

	TO THE WRITER ABOVE ME: JANET HAS PAID A TRIBUTE TO HER BROTHER; YOU CAN CERTAINLY SEE THE SADNESS AND HURT IN HER; SHE WAS VERY STRONG TO GET UP THERE AND PERFORM AND I REMEMBER HER SAYING IN THAT INTERVIEW THAT IS HOW SHE WILL KEEP HER MIND OFF OF THINGS BY THROWING HERSELF INTO HER WORK. NOE MICHAEL WOULD NOT HAVE WANTED JANET TO CRAWL UP IN THE CLOSET SOMEWHERE AND MOAN AND GRIEVE FOREVER EVERY ONE HANDLES GRIEVING IN A DIFFERENT WAY; JANET WAS DOING HER OWN MOVES; IF YOU GO BACK AND LOOK AT THE VIDEOS THOSE ARE HER MOVES FROM 20 YEARS AGO; SHE & MICHAEL DANCES SO MUCH ALIKE I GUESS THAT WHY YOU THOUGHT SHE WAS DOING HIS MOVES; HONEY NO; JANET DID THOSE SAME MOVES IN THE VIDEO JUST GO WATCH THEM. YES JANET HAD A BANGIN PERFORMANCE SHE OUT THERE FOR 7 MINUTES LONGER THAN ANY OTHER ARTIST AND WAS REALLY NOT IN PHYSICAL FIT LIKE SHE DOES FOR HER TOUR; AND SHE STILL MANAGE TO OUTDANCE THE 20 YEAR OLDS. SO YOU NEED TO GO HIDE IN A CLOSET BECAUSE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING MAKE NO SINCE.

	Janet Jackson dressed in a Pocahontas inspired suede outfit did not compliment her figure. I think she is very pretty, I saw her on the interview she did recently, she has a lot of Michael's mannerism. it appeared that she was trying to copy some of her late brother Michael Jackson's moves. I was not impressed. It would have been better had she talked about her late brother instead of doing that performance. She had worlwide attention, she could have talked about how Michael Jackson changed the face of music. She could have talked about how Michael Jackson spent nearly his entire life trying to bring happiness to others and she could have talked about his influence on a younger generation of musicians. She had the chance to make that evening all about Michael Jackson and his music and she didn't do that, she is NOT LIKE HER LATE BROTHER MICHAEL JACKSON who would put everything out for L.O.V.E. A fan of Michael Jackson
