Jackson Family Questions Michael's Will Authenticity

Michael Jackson's siblings have fired off a letter demanding the immediate resignation of the superstar's estate executors.

Janet, Rebbie, Tito, Randy and Jermaine Jackson have called into question the authenticity of the Thriller icon's last will and testament, claiming administrators John Branca and John MCClain faked the document before the singer's death on 25 June, 2009 to gain control of his finances.

The Jacksons' signed letter, sent to Branca and MCClain on Tuesday (17Jul12), states, "At the time we couldn't possibly fathom what is so obvious to us now: that the Will, without question, it's fake, flawed and fraudulent...

"Since the passing of Michael, our beloved brother, you have failed to perform your duties as executors of his estate, but what you have not failed at is taking advantage of a grieving mother, father and a grieving family.

"Our brother told us, in no uncertain terms and without hesitation in the months prior to his death, that he despised both of you and that he did not want either of you to have anything to do with his life or estate for that matter."

The missive, obtained by Celebuzz.com, accuses the executors of increasing their own income from the estate, thereby robbing Jackson's three children and his elderly mother Katherine of their inheritances.

Youngest Jackson brother Randy took to Twitter.com on Tuesday to apparently comment on the matter, writing, "Yes, the letter is authentic."

He added, "We ask that everyone respects that this is a serious matter that will be handled by the proper authorities."

How sad. If it didn't have Janet's name on it, I would dismiss it immediately as another cloying attempt by the family to use their brother. Michael was asked several times in the last years of his life to change his will. He steadfastly refused. He may have had his ups and downs with Branca and McClain but he knew they would take care of his estate. The tone of this letter is mean spirited, hateful and unprofessional - an embarassment to the Jacksons.
