Jackson Composer Files Creditor's Claim

MICHAEL JACKSON's estate has been hit with yet another creditor's claim - from a composer who worked on the pop star's hits BLACK OR WHITE, DANGEROUS: THE SHORT FILMS and GHOSTS.
Bradley Buxer, who also served as a keyboardist for Jackson on The Dangerous Tour, claims he is owed over $47,839 (£29,900) for "music development, production and performance", reports TMZ.com.
Other creditors' claims against the Thriller hitmaker's estate have reportedly exceeded $20 million (£12.5 million) since the King of Pop's death last June (09).

2009 was the JUBILEE Year- read what that means...Sabbath meant that every seventh day, they would not work but would rest - something that they could never do under slavery. It meant that their slaves, servants and even their animals would rest for that day. In addition to this, every seventh year that would not work - neither would their slaves, servants or animals. But they would not be paid either, and they would not plant their crops and they would have to depend on what the Lord provided for them. They would also set all their Hebrew slaves free and cancel all debts. Every fiftieth year, there was a "year of jubilee". This would have followed a 49th year and so would have meant two years of not working and two years of having to trust God for everything. Also, all land was returned to the original owners. (in fact, the value of land was determined by how many years until jubilee). Now why did this guy wait so long to make his claim? Where was he the past decade and a half? Try changing your understanding of what you feel is owed to you based on OLD LAWS that governed our forefathers???? Peace not GREED!

Why is there a such a lenght of time between when these creditors completed work for Mj and now. Did MJ just ignore their bills and these creditors could not afford to collect from him. MJ had so much money but small scale financial stuff seemed to slip him sometimes by for whatever reason.Oh well... I can relate sometimes its hard to pay bills for lots of reasons... Lots of L.O.V.E MJ R.I.P

The Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil. (1 Timothy 6:10) Money in itself is not evil. But a man's love for it that causes him to devise schemes to get it is sin. No one should have to wait this long to file a claim against Michael's estate. Some of these claims are from years ago. Why are you just now filing a claim? If he truly owed you all this money, your paperwork should have been in order and filed promptly. How can you now prove your claim is legit? You were not in mourning...you were scheming. I wonder how many others are trying to get a piece of the pie. Hmmmm. I wouldn't want "Judas money".

It seems that this is the new trend now, sue Michael Jackson...that's in, that's hot. What is wrong with these people????? John Landis, the one who made the Thriller video is supposedly sueing him as well. Why wait until now; why not sue when MJ when he was alive. Were they afraid to confront him? They just seem grimmy to me. There should be statue of limitations of 1 year put in affect. If MJ or anyone defaults on a payment, they have up to one year to sue. All these lawsuits are absolutely ridiculous.
