Jack The Giant Slayer Slays Home-video Competition

Warner Bros.' Jack the Giant Slayer took over first place on the home video sales charts last week. That pushed Disney's Oz The Great and Powerful down a notch. Hansel and Gretel!: Witch Hunters came in third, according to Nielsen VideoScan First Alert. Among box-office rentals, Universal's Side Effects, which managed to take in just $32.17 million when it debuted at the box office, nevertheless was declared the winner on Sunday. Lionsgate's Snitch was the second-place runner-up, while Disney's Oz The Great and Powerful dropped to No. 3.
