Jack White Keeps Masters In Special Vault
The former The White Stripes frontman has managed to keep hold of the original recordings of almost every song he's ever worked on and he has created a library called the Vault at his Third Man Records offices to keep them in top condition.
The room can only be accessed via a biometric scanner and the temperature remains at a constant 64 degrees Fahrenheit (17.8 degrees Celsius).
He tells the New York Times, "It’s good to finally have them in a nice sealed environment."
But White hasn't always been so cautious with his masters - he reveals he previously kept them "in a closet in my house. Ready to be set on fire."
