Red Hot Chili Peppers - Jack Sherman Upset Over Hall Of Fame Snub

Ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers star Jack Sherman has criticised his former bandmates after he was excluded from their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Anthony Kiedis' band joined Guns N' Roses and the Beastie Boys as they accepted their places in the prestigious Cleveland, Ohio institution last month (Apr12).
Former Chili Peppers guitarist Sherman, who played on the band's debut album, is upset he and Dave Navarro, who spent five years in the group, weren't invited to the ceremony, calling the snub "really painful".
He tells Billboard.com, "It's a politically correct way of omitting Dave Navarro and I for whatever reasons they have - that are probably the band's and not the Hall's. It's really painful to see all this celebrating going on, and be excluded...
"(I) soldiered on under arduous conditions to try to make the thing work (while in the band) - that's what you do in a job. That's being dishonoured. I'm being dishonoured. And it sucks."
The Californication hitmakers' lawyer Eric Greenspan has hit back at Sherman, insisting: "It's not a decision made by the band. It's made by the Hall of Fame. They determine which of the members, through their career, get inducted."
Current Chili Peppers axeman Josh Klinghoffer was included in the induction, as were his predecessor John Frusciante and late founding guitarist Hillel Slovak.
Frusciante chose not to attend the event.
