Ja Rule Sentencing Hearing Pushed Back
The Always On Time hitmaker, real name Jeffrey Atkins, is set to serve two years behind bars after pleading guilty to a gun charge relating to a 2007 arrest in New York.
He was due to appear in court on Wednesday (09Feb11) for sentencing, but prosecutors requested a delay to allow them extra time.
The hip-hop star is due back in court on 9 March (11).
Ja Rule was hit with a count of attempted criminal possession of a weapon after cops found a semi-automatic gun hidden in the door of his car during a traffic stop.
