Rowling - J.k. Rowling Wants To Release Director's Cut Of Harry Potter Books

Author J.K. Rowling has given Harry Potter fans a glimmer of hope after hinting she is keen to pen a "director's cut" version of some of her best-selling books.

The franchise wound down last year (11) when the final installment, 2007's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was turned into a two-part blockbuster.

Rowling has now moved on to adult fiction but is longing to have another go at writing some of her most famous books, because she was pushed for time while penning the projects.

She tells the Bbc, "There were a couple of the Potters and I definitely knew that they needed another year (of work).

"I had to write on the run and there were times when it was really tough. And I read them, and I think 'Oh God, maybe I'll go back and do a director's cut.' I don't know.

"But you know what, I'm proud I was writing under the conditions under which I was writing, no-one will ever know how tough it was at times."
