Is White House Snubbing Fox News Again?
Reviving the conflict between the White House and Fox News, Fox News Sunday 's host Chris Wallace on Sunday complained that while the White House had made Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates available to NBC, ABC, and CBS for their Sunday-morning public-affairs programs, it did not make them available for his. Wallace said that he had wanted to ask Clinton and Gates about the U.S. intervention in Libya. Despite the fact that we routinely have more viewers than two of those Sunday shows [CBS's Face the Nation and ABC's This Week, but not NBC's Meet the Press ], the Obama team felt no need to explain to the millions of you who watch this program and Fox News why they have sent U.S. servicemen and women into combat." Fox News Sunday airs live on Fox's broadcast network and is repeated on its cable news channel.
