Ready for another Kanye West Twitter lecture? The rapper is never shy from giving his opinion on the social networking site, and has been pondering the meanings of the word b*tch, questioning whether the word is truly acceptable in today's black culture.
In fairness to Kanye West, it's an interesting question and one perhaps relevant in today's climate. He mused, "I usually never tweet questions but I struggle with this so here goes... Is the word B**CH acceptable. Is it acceptable for a man to call a woman a bitch even if it's endearing". After receiving a flurry of responses, West seemed to rephrase his question, asking, "Is it ok to use b*tch as long as we put Bad in front of it? Like you a Bad B*Tch". Later, Kanye admitted that he would often edit his lyrics in an effort to be less offensive, saying, "I will admit that I sometimes go back an omit cursing from my records. I like to use profanity as a tool and not a crutch.I'm not tweeting to say what we need and what we don't... I just wanted to think out loud with you guys today".
With Kim Kardashian the new love of his life - seemingly more so than his music - it begs the question, has she turned the rapper into a new man? He recently came under fire for calling Kim the "perfect b*tch": maybe she had a quiet word.
