Amanda Bynes - Is Amanda Bynes’ ‘Doing A Charlie Sheen?’

Amanda Bynes’ disturbing behaviour over the past couple of months has begun to concern her dedicated fans. The 26-year-old Nickelodeon star insists that she is fine, though her personal problems took a bizarre turn on Monday (September 18, 2012).

According to TMZ.com, the actress locked herself in a boutique’s dressing room in West Hollywood for almost two hours. A staff member became so concerned that another employee was called, though Bynes insisted she would not come out. One of the clerks told someone at the scene, “I was so worried about her. I didn't know what she was doing in [the dressing room]. I didn't know if she was overdosing, or doing drugs or what.” Bynes’ car was impounded on Sunday after she was pulled over in the early morning driving around Los Angeles aimlessly – this would have been less of a problem had she not already been suspended from driving. Last Thursday, a gym-goer at ‘Equinox’ said Bynes was in the premises looking dazed and talking to herself.

Bynes’ current lack of punishment isn’t going unnoticed though, and Lindsay Lohan – who’s had her fair share of legal problems in the past – tweeted on Sunday “Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?” Fair point.
