Iommi Sparks Fresh Black Sabbath Reunion Talk
With reports suggesting a major announcement is imminent, Iommi has told Billboard.com that he and bandmates Geezer Butler and Bill Ward met up at frontman Ozzy's Los Angeles home to play a few old hits.
Iommi says, "It was a bit of fun... It was good, but it was just purely, 'Let's have a go and see what happens.'"
The rocker reveals he and his bandmates were making plans to reconvene soon, so they could "discuss things and see what's going to happen and see what we're going to do."
Iommi adds, "It'd be nice to think we can actually do something."
All four original Black Sabbath members will be present at a press conference on Friday (11Nov11) at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, where the band made its Los Angeles debut on 11 November, 1970, as Alice Cooper's support act.
They are expected to announce plans for a new album and world tour.
