Intruder Clive Owen
Clive Owen is to star in thriller 'Intruders', which begins shooting in June.
Clive Owen has signed up for Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's 'Intruders'.
The 45-year-old actor will portray the father of an 11-year-old girl who is forced to confront her childhood demons in the movie, which is being financed by Universal Pictures International.
The film is expected to begin shooting on location in London and Madrid in June.
It is the first English language movie from Fresnadillo since 2007's '28 Weeks Later' and will be produced by Enrique Lopez Lavigne and Belen Atienza, The Hollywood Reporter claims.
British-born Clive, who was once considered to be in the running for the role of James Bond following the departure of Pierce Brosnan from the franchise, has had a number of successful films in recent years, including 'Sin City' in 2005 and sci-fi drama 'Children of Men' with Julianne Moore and Charlie Hunnam in 2006.
Later this year he will star in crime drama 'Inside Man 2' with Denzel Washington and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
