Interview Set to Coincide With the Release of 'Liz and Dick'
It's been a very long time since anyone has found difficulty in finding anything remotely scandalous to write about Lindsay Lohan and this past month she seems to have surpassed all previous records. She tapped a pedestrian with her Porsche, had a fight with a political aide, plus a fight with her mum, accused her mum of being on cocaine, repealed the statement, disowned her dad, and came out as a supporter of Romney, which was a complete turnaround from her 2008 allegiance to Barack Obama. As such, there is no doubt that Barbra Walters, celebrated US journalist, will be able to draw on an incredibly backlog of stories while interviewing the flame-headed star.
The interview with Lohan will be a far cry from what brought Walters right to the heart of the journalistic spectrum, with her interviews with some of the world's most influential political leaders including Margaret Thatcher, Vladimir Putin, Hugo Chavez, Ghandia and Gadaffi. Lohan and Walters are reportedly 'close' according to the Daily Mail and Lohan apparently “trust[s] Walters explicitly”.
The interview will be recorded sometime over the next few weeks but its airing will coincide with the broadcast of the Elizabeth Taylor biopic 'Liz & Dick'. EntertainmentWise report that sources say Walters will not go “too far” with Lohan, who avoids normally avoids interviews as a rule, even though the reporter isn't known for being shy in regard to asking candid questions, however she may be asking questions about themes such as: “child stardom, rough childhood, living life in the public, and dealing with addiction” (Daily Mail). This may be the chance Lohan needs to set the record straight, or it may be the platform for yet another mishap...
