Harrison Ford - Indiana Jones' Whip Up For Auction

Jones famously cracked the brown leather whip throughout his time playing the adventurer, and the specially crafted item, which appeared in the hero's first outing in Raiders of the Lost Ark, is now up for sale.

The whip will be accompanied by a letter from the film's special effects boss Kit West, confirming the piece's authenticity, when it goes up as a lot at Bonhams auction house in the U.K. capital on 15 December (11).

The estimate price is between $48,000 (£30,000) and $56,000 (£35,000).
