India - India.arie Settles Lawsuit With Ex-manager

02 May 2012
R&B star India.Arie has settled a legal dispute with her former manager, who alleged the singer failed to pay for her services before ending their professional relationship.

Noreen Nalli, who served as Arie's manager between 2005 and 2009, filed a lawsuit at a federal court in Tennessee claiming her former client dumped her without warning two years ago and failed to pay for her services in full.

The legal papers suggested Arie owed money to Nalli, but the singer counter-sued, claiming she overpaid her former representative.

However, after a year of legal wrangling, the pair's lawyers filed a motion to have the case dismissed earlier this month (Apr12) after settling for an undisclosed amount, according to Hollyscoop.com.
