It was in-fact Twitter user and Twilight fan Julie Demdam who spotted the actor supping beers with his friends in a bar in Ojai, California. Seemingly unable to believe her own luck, she tweeted on Saturday, "Robert Pattinson and his friends are at The Deer Lodge getting wasted", adding, "Rob is with some panty droppers.They're on the dance floor dancing like crazy". The sighting is likely to be accurate, given that Pattinson has reportedly been crashing at Reese Witherspoon's home in Ojai since photographs of Stewart making out with director Rupert Sanders surfaced last month. Although Dendam didn't post any pictures of Pattinson, she appeared to have got close to the actor's group, ending the evening by infuriating Twilight fans and adding, "Awesome night in Ojai.Got to hang out with a rowdy bunch of Brits [and] one of them happened to be Edward".

Stewart and Sanders both issued public apologies after the photographs surfaced and Pattinson reportedly asked his girlfriend to move out of their $6 million home in Los Feliz. The pair were photographed kissing and cuddling near the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, before driving away in Stewart's Mini Cooper. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart struck up a relationship soon after meeting on the set of the first vampire movie.
