Shamed rocker Ian Watkins has lost his bid to appeal against his 35-year jail sentence for child sex offences.
The former Lostprophets frontman was ordered to serve at least 29 years behind bars before he can apply for early release after he was convicted of a number of sickening charges, including the attempted rape of a baby.
Watkins, 36, moved to challenge his lengthy sentence, but his bid was rejected by a panel of judges at Cardiff Crown Court in Wales on Wednesday (23Jul14). They ruled he does not have grounds to appeal against his prison term.
The singer was convicted last year (13) after he pleaded guilty to 13 charges.
The actor had an important goal after Paul Walker's death.
