An ex-girlfriend of shamed Welsh rocker Ian Watkins has been charged for alleged possession of indecent images of children.
The Lostprophets frontman was unmasked as a paedophile last year (13) and jailed for 35 years after he was convicted of a string of sickening sex offences, including the attempted rape of a baby.
Former call girl Joanne Mjadzelics, who dated Watkins on and off from 2008, is now also facing prosecution as part of a wider police investigation, called Operation Globe.
On Thursday (06Mar14), the 38 year old was slapped with four counts of possession of an indecent image, two charges of distributing an indecent image and one of encouraging another to distribute an indecent image.
She has been released on bail and has been ordered to appear at Cardiff magistrates' court on 21 March (14) to face the allegations.
Mjadzelics, also known as Joanne Majic, previously claimed to have notified South Wales Police about her ex's perverted nature back in 2008, but her tip-off was ignored. A separate investigation by Britain's police watchdog has been launched into those allegations.
She also recently accused Watkins of sending her a disturbing photo of a four-year-old girl with a line of cocaine, saying, "At first I was just disturbed by Ian when he said he wanted to abuse children. I thought it was some twisted joke, but when he emailed me this pic (picture) I realised he really meant it.
"I was sickened... If this picture does not prove he was a danger to children then I really don't know what else would have."
